Six Gun South was born from an earlier band known as JOSS. JOSS was a well established classic
rock band that toured the local tri-state area and recorded original material for over 17 years.
Six Gun South now plays a wide variety of popular music with a heavy emphasis on southern and
classic rock. This high energy combination feeds into their original works which they affectionately
refer to as "muscle country rock and roll". Six Gun South uses state-of-the-art equipment provided
by Burrwood Sound and Lighting. Together, Six Gun South and Burrwood Sound and Lighting have worked
with the following groups:
Molly Hatchet
Jimmy VanZant

Ty Herndon
The Wilkinsons
The Desert Rose Band
Willie Nelson
Rare Earth
Rhett Akins
